Determine accessibility needs

David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium is a fully accessible facility with open limited-mobility and wheelchair seating that can be claimed by guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to ongoing construction at Memorial Stadium, accessible seating will be available in the west and north sides of the stands, and the elevators on the west side of the stadium will be available. No guest overflow seating will be available on the field this year. 

The ceremony will be broadcast live with captions.

Alternate viewing locations for guests who prefer not to enter the stadium will be the Kansas Union, the Jayhawk Welcome Center, and the University of Kansas Conference Center. All locations meet ADA requirements. 

The livestream will also be available on this Commencement website for friends, family, and loved ones to watch from their personal devices.

Order flowers

The Commencement Group is the official provider of flowers on campus Commencement weekend. Pop-up stands will be stationed at Allen Fieldhouse, Lied Center of Kansas, Kansas Union, and Murphy Hall during the weekend for the recognition ceremonies and nearby Memorial Stadium on Sunday for Commencement. To further contribute to a safe and efficient environment for graduates, guests, and faculty, The Commencement Group strongly encourages customers to take advantage of their online service. Pickup is available for customers who preorder online.

Preregister for official photographs

The Grad Team is the official Commencement photographer for the University of Kansas. They will be photographing school and department recognition events throughout the weekend, as well as the Commencement ceremony on Sunday. To preregister for your photos, please visit The Grad Team website. Under the Future Events section, select the event they will be attending. Enter their contact information and upload a photo of your graduate, then select each event they will be participating in. (Go ahead and select the Commencement ceremony even if you aren’t yet sure whether your graduate will be attending.)
